Today we have a Holden Viva with a failed clutch. When this vehicle was inspected it was slipping when under load. This is standard wear from normal use that has worn this clutch down. It hadn’t failed completely at this point but this is the time to have it replaced. Before a major failure happens causing possible other damage and also then the need for a tow truck. If the clutch had a major failure it can damage the input shaft on the gearbox, the flywheel can crack or could damage the hydraulic line for the slave all items are an extra expenses which are avoidable.
I replaced the complete clutch kit which comprises of Pressure plate, friction plate, Conical slave cylinder and spigot bearing. The flywheel was machined which is necessary to ensure smooth operation of the new clutch.
